Yacht charter French Riviera

Cote d'azur zomervakantie catamaran charter

Choose your ultimate escape to the famed French Riviera, departing from either our base in Port Pin Rolland or Marseille.

On your Côte d’Azur yacht charter you can visit historic ports, such as St. Tropez, as well as the spectacular Iles d’Or with their protected anchorages, beautiful beaches and spots for lounging and snorkeling.

Or head to St. Tropez, which has long been a favorite destination of artists, writers and celebrities, as well as sailors. Then relax on the sandy beaches of Mourillon, the oldest resort on the French Riviera.

For a cultured stopover on your Côte d’Azur yacht vacation, call in at Toulon, a town known for its glorious fountains and opera house. For wildlife lovers, there are the protected waters of the National Park of the Calanques, between Marseille, Cassis and La Ciotat, covering some 540 square miles of coastline.

You can start your French Riviera yacht charter from our bases at Port Pin Rolland, St. Mandrier sur Mer or Marina Vieux Port in Marseille. You do not need a sailing license to sail from here, but good sailing experience is preferred. For those without experience, there’s always the option of hiring a skipper.

Things to do in the Côte d’Azur

Cote d'azur relaxed girl yacht charter

Chill out on the island of Porquerolles

Sail to the paradise of Porquerolles, where cars are forbidden and the only way to get around is by bike, boat or on foot. Take your time exploring the village and harbor.

Stroll the famous streets of St. Tropez

There are so many things to do in St. Tropez, but we’d recommend grabbing a mooring in the Baie des Canebiers, where you can rub shoulders with the jet set in the old port, or visit the citadel and charming old town. Stroll through the narrow streets and pop into the Annonciade Museum.

Spend a peaceful night in the Bay de Bonporteau

Situated on the coast between Cap Camarat and Cap Taillat, the large Bay de Bonporteau offers protected moorings, a sheltered golden sandy beach and sparkling, warm waters.

Explore Port-Cros National Park

Geniet van het spotten van wilde dieren in de ecologisch beschermde wateren rond de eilanden Port-Cros en Porquerolles.

Visit the famous grave on Embiez Island

Embiez was bought by industrialist and environmentalist Paul Ricard, the founder of pastis manufacturer Ricard, in 1957. You can visit his grave on the island’s highest point. The island celebrates Ricard’s birthday on 9 July every year – perfect timing, if that’s when you’re on your French Riviera yacht charter.

What an AMAZING experience. We’ve just returned from a week long skippered charter from Corfu, sailing around the beautiful islands of the Ionian. Paxos, Antipaxos and Corfu Old Town were beautiful and the secluded bays we had the pleasure of visiting thanks to our local skipper, Nicholas, were simply overwhelming. Fly and flops are no longer for us – we’ll be chartering with DYC for the foreseeable future.

Our group of 10 had an AMAZING time in French Polynesia from May 21-28, 2022! The food was amazing, our captain and chef, husband and wife: Henry and Mehee (sp), were incredible and the whole experience on board was a dream! We can’t wait to book another trip through DYC

We will be booking Tahiti next year.

Baja is my favorite place now. There was something for everyone: sailed under northerlies with mostly calm evenings, snorkeled, fished, bummed it on the sandy beaches, enchanted by pelicans feeding, greeted by the barking sea lions and explored the Ispiritu Santo island geology. DYC La Paz base provided competent professional support with a well provisioned and maintained boat. We were nourished well by an onboard cook arranged with DYC freeing us all for more play. A vacation and an adventure connected with nature.
