1. Our flexible rescheduling
Contact your agent for help if you didn’t book directly with us.
If you are unable to get to your departure destination due to COVID-19 disruption, you can:
- Reschedule without a fee for alternative dates in 2020 or 2021 and your deposit will be transferred to your new booking
- Receive a credit for the deposit paid which you can use towards a future charter for departure in 2020 or 2021. The credit note is valid for 12 months.
Rescheduled charters are subject to current pricing. You will have to pay the difference if the booking is more expensive and there will not be a refund if the booking is less expensive.
Our policy qualifies COVID-19 disruption as border closures, a government advisory against travelling to your destination or restrictions preventing us from operating your charter at the departure destination. Failure to provide a negative COVID-19 test to enter the country you are visiting does not qualify as disruption. In this case, our usual cancellation terms apply but we recommend you opt for COVID-19 cancellation insurance when booking.
2. Optional Extended Cover
You can buy our new Extended Cover and get extra peace of mind if your booking qualifies for COVID-19 disruption as described above.
You already get an unrivalled choice for rescheduling but if your dates and destination are not flexible, pay £360 for Extended Cover per booking (or £230 per cabin for by the cabin charters) and you’ll be eligible for a refund of your charter cost, or you can opt to receive a credit note for the value of your charter plus a 10% bonus.
Extended cover is available for new bookings with departures before 30 April 2021. Disruption must meet our criteria and the policy excludes the Bahamas, BVI, USVI, Mexico and Florida. Talk to us to find out more.
3. Optional COVID-19 cancellation insurance
We’ve partnered with insurer Gritchen to offer COVID-19 travel cancellation insurance to our direct customers. It offers protection if you or your crew test positive and are unable to provide a negative PCR test, or display symptoms of COVID-19 and are unable to travel at last minute.
The cover includes cancellation, late arrival, interruption of stay and hotel expenses if you or your crew are affected by COVID-19 and is available to UK and EU residents only. Find out more.
